on our company data

Working in the European pharmaceutical industry, you will be aware that since January 2023 the so-called Supply Chain Act has come into effect both at a European and a German level. It obliges companies operating in and from Germany to make certain no human rights are violated and the principles of sustainability are applied in their own operation as well as with the suppliers they engage with. This is to ensure, companies supplying goods to the German market do not condone child labour or harm the environment by inappropriate use of pesticides for example.

The law applies to larger companies with more than 1.000 employees. They have to make certain the guidelines are applied throughout their supply chain. In order to prove and constantly monitor this, each company has to publish an annual report.

Why is this relevant for infill?

While we are well below the threshold of 1.000 employees, infill is a service provider to and part of the supply chain of our pharmaceutical clients. As has become customary, we are often asked to provide details about our financial situation, our environmental footprint and our employees as part of the onboarding process.

So we decided to have our company data evaluated and listed by ESG Creditreform, an external agency, specialized in risk assessments and credit checks. As a result of the process, we have been awarded the sustainability seal of approval of which we are very proud.
